George K. Our PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. and Cmas 2 Star Instrutor Trainer, George Kane has been interested in Skin & Scuba Diving most of his life, growing up watching such shows as "Sea Hunt" and the Jacques Cousteau specials. In 1973, he became certified in Scuba Diving with PADI and YMCA. At that time, he also became the youngest memeber of the Sullivan County Volunteer Fireman's Underwater Recovery Unit. In 1987 - 1988 he attended the PADI International College and recevied certifications in Open Water Scuba Instructor, Retail Dive Store Sales & Operations, plus Deep Diver, Night Diver, Equipment Repair (Specialty and Professional Level), Research Diver, Underwater Navigator and Underwater Photography specialties. Since that time, he has also added Dry suit, Ice Rescue and Ice Diving specialties. He also holds a US Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Skills and Seamanship certification. George has served as Assistant Divemaster and Divemaster in Orange County, NY and continues to serve as a Firefighter/EMT/Public Safety Diver in Sullivan County,NY.
Joseph R. Our NAUI Instructor. Joe has over 10 years diving experience, the last 6 as an instructor. With hundreds of dives under his weight belt Joe has experience in all types of diving conditions. In addition to teaching all of NAUI’s standard courses, Joe is also certified to teach many of the NAUI specialties, including Deep Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Rescue Diver, Search & Recovery Diver and many more. Not only is Joe a highly qualified instructor, he is also a firefighter and the Co-Captain of the Sullivan County Special Operations Dive Team. Joe’s wealth of experience, training and exceptionally high standards make him an essential member of our instructor team.
Eli B. Our General Manager. Eli is a hands on type of manager who isn't afraid to roll up his sleeves and do anything that may be required. In addition to being Isaac's second in command, Eli brings many years of corporate management experience to Prime Scuba. Eli is at home helping out the shipping department as well as behind a computer or talking with our business partners.
Juli M. Our Store Showroom Manager. Jacob is responsible for maintaining and organizing our showroom, as well as for training our sales staff. Jacob makes sure that Prime Scuba is the Local Dive Store of choice for all our students, local divers and walk in customers.
Simi S. Our Customer Relations and Sales Representative. Being the newest addition to the Prime Scuba Family, Simi brings with her a tremendous passion for diving. Whether diving locally in the Northeast or on one of her many diving adventures worldwide, Simi lives, breaths, eats and sleeps diving. With over 4 years of experience as a diver working in the diving industry, Simi has a knowledge of diving that only a few elite posses.
David A. Our Divemaster and Instructor Trainee. David has over 10 years diving experience, including leading many group trips. He has also earned equipment technician ratings on many of the top brands of diving equipment. David is an experienced Combat Medic with the U.S. Army and is currently working on his CMAS One Star Instructor Rating. As such, David is a most welcome addition to the Prime Scuba Family |
