Diving a twin cylinder configuration provides the security of a
redundant dive rig with the benefit of more gas than a standard
aluminum 80 tank. Spear fishers use this set-up to maximize bottom
time; intro technical diving students use twin cylinders for redundancy
without weight during training and explorers will use a small,
technical rig for short reconnaissance dives.
All Dive Rite manifolds
use double barrel o-ring seals, which provide better shock absorption
and redundancy compared to metal-to-metal seal manifolds. With a 165mm
isolation crossbar, this manifold has a 7.75-inch (197 mm)
center-to-center spacing, which allows up to .25-inch variability
according to tank diameter tolerances. This manifold will fit standard
US LP45 or 40 tanks.
Shock absorbing, ribbed rubber knobs are rugged,
yet easy to manipulate. All Dive Rite manifolds come standard with 3500
psi working pressure relief disks. The 200 Bar Short Crossbar Manifold
comes with removable inserts and can be used with either DIN or yoke
regulators. All Dive Rite manifolds and valves come with oxygen
compatible o-rings and lubricants and are Nitrox ready up to 40-percent.
