When surface visibility is important, such as performing stops during deco or surfacing after a drift dive, The Surface Marking Tube makes sure divers can be seen in open ocean where waves, surface reflection and noisy boat motors can make it difficult to be noticed. An over pressure relief valve eliminates over inflation and an ingenious funnel-shape baffle allows the bag to be inflated at depth, but prevents if from deflating should it fall over at the surface.
